At THF Kids, we desire to partner with families to raise kids with an authentic faith. We are excited to offer the Raising Emotionally Strong & Worry-Free Kids Video Curriculum during the 2024-2025 school year! Any grown up who longs to be intentional in raising a child to be a follower of Jesus is invited to participate. We will gather once a month, during the 11:00am service, at The Heights Fellowship. We have plans to care for your kids during our Bible study time too (see details below).
This Bible study is a snapshot of David Thomas’ book, Raising Emotionally Strong Boys and Sissy Goff’s book, Raising Worry-Free Girls. During this course, David and Sissy will talk about practical ways kids can name and navigate their emotions, understanding what worry and anxiety look like, offering practical strategies to fight worry, and find hope. We’ll be talking about the kids you love, but we’ll also be talking about you. Joy Urlaub, Children’s Pastor at THF, will facilitate our time together.

Childcare:
- Preschool // Children (birth-PreK) will attend THF Kids Jr. Our amazing team of preschool small group leaders will care for your children during Bible study. This will be a repeat of their activities if your preschooler attends the 9:30am service as well. Your children will have a snack, worship, play, and enjoy age-appropriate small group activities.
- THF Kids at 11 // (Kinder-5th Grade) If your children do not attend THF Kids Worship at 9:30am, they will participate at 11:00. We have a great group of small group leaders ready to lead your kids in worship and small groups during Bible study.
- Chill Zone // (Kinder-5th Grade) Chill Zone will be available for children who have already participated in THF Kids Worship at 9:30am. Your kids will get a snack and have fun “chilling out” together. If you have a middle school student who needs a place to go, they are invited to attend Chill Zone as well. Middle schoolers will have fun and also have opportunities to be leaders.
