Prayer for Healing and Restoration in a Challenging Relationship

| Prayer Request: | My name is Marc, and I would like to request prayers for my girlfriend, Soukaina. We first met in 2017 but lost contact in 2018. However, we reconnected in April 2023 through the Biden program. Since June 2023, our relationship has been experiencing difficulties. I acknowledge that there were times when I treated her in a toxic manner, and I deeply regret my actions. Currently, Soukaina is facing challenges with her mother, who seems to prioritize her boyfriend over Soukaina and her younger sister. Soukaina has been expressing her frustrations by raising her voice and using hurtful words towards me. She desires to live her life independently and disregards my efforts to support and guide her. I am assisting her in finding jobs and a place to live in New York, but she often belittles my actions and shows disrespect. I feel emotionally drained and have compromised my own values to justify her behavior. I haven't seen any progress in our relationship, despite my constant efforts. It feels like I'm the only one making sacrifices and that she doesn't appreciate me. My joy in the relationship has diminished, and I find myself dwelling on the past when things were better. I love Soukaina deeply, and I want the relationship to thrive. However, I feel helpless and believe that God needs to intervene. Additionally, I am concerned about her family's involvement with voodoo, as they are from Haiti. I humbly request your prayers for guidance, healing, and transformation in our relationship.
