Concerned

Forgive me for using your prayer request section to reach out but I couldn’t find another way. We visited your church this morning and to be honest it was very disappointing. The music was good but what was concerning was that we saw only one other couple besides us who remotely entered in to worship, the rest of the crowd seemed very complacent and even bored. I realize it’s up to each individual for their own worship and relationship with the Lord but it says something about the overall atmosphere of worship that’s common in any church. The other thing we found very concerning is the message that was given… it was more of a history lesson, which I’m all for in the right circumstance but not a Sunday morning service where Gods word should be preached with edification, being challenged, and signs and wonders should follow. I’m only telling you this because we’ve been looking for a church home and Heights fellowship seems to be one of the spiritually deadest we’ve visited. We’ll be praying for your church.
